Convenient to shopping, entertainment and public transportation.Metrobus

DC Location

Metrobus: The #H8 or #60 bus stops right outside our front gate. It is a short ride to either DC Metrorail at Fort Totten station (on the red and green metrorail lines) or Brookland station (on the red metrorail line). Connection points to other bus lines can be found at http://www.wmata.com/metrobus/default.cfm

DC Metrorail System ("DC Metro"): Once you have access to any of the five DC Metro lines (red, orange, blue, green, and yellow), you have access to just about anything you want to do in DC or any other form of transportation. Check out the entire DC Metro System map at http://www.wmata.com/metrorail/systemmap.cfm The Metrobus above provides AFRH residents and guests with quick access to and from the DC Metro.

Air Travel: Ronald Reagan / Washington National Airport is accessible via the blue or yellow DC Metro lines. Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) connects to DC's Union Station via the MARC train airport station (see rail service below). From Dulles Airport you can take a cab or hotel bus to a stop on the DC Metro orange line. Transfer to the DC Metro redline which stops near AFRH as described in the Metrobus above.

Rail Service: Besides the DC Metrorail System, major east coast rail service is available through DC's Union Station located just northeast of the US Capitol. East coast Amtrack Service, Maryland Commuter Trains (MARC) from Baltimore and Brunswick, and Virginia Commuter Service all stop here. You can hop aboard the DC Metro redline and be on your way to AFRH.
