The Monthly Regional Reviews for the Northern, Southern, Central and Western Regional Environmental Offices and the bi-monthly Review for the Northern Regional Environmental Office feature proposed and final rules and legislation that may affect Army or DoD operations. The Army's Regional Environmental Offices monitor these actions closely. If a proposed state action might have a disproportionate effect on the Army or DoD, we coordinate with the potentially affected installations through the Installation Management Command (IMCOM); National Guard Bureau; the Office of the Chief, Army Reserve; and/or other military services to further assess the potential impact.

If comments are warranted on a proposed action, we work with Army or service regulatory experts to communicate our position, coordinating with the affected installations through the IMA, Guard, or Reserve offices. Comments are combined from all parties in a single DoD package and formally submitted to the state.
