CWPPRA Cancellation/Notification of Reschedule Dates:

The CWPPRA Task Force meeting scheduled to be held on May 3, 2007 in
Lafayette, LA has been cancelled with no reschedule date.

The previously scheduled July 11, 2007 CWPPRA Task Force meeting has been
rescheduled to be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at US Army
Corps of Engineers, 7400 Leake Ave., New Orleans, LA in the District
Assembly Room (DARM). The June 27, 2007 CWPPRA Task Force meeting will
cover agenda items that were to be discussed at the cancelled May 3, 2007
meeting.

The rescheduling of the July Task Force meeting has impacted the
previously scheduled June 13, 2007 CWPPRA Technical Committee meeting. As
a result, the June 13, 2007 Technical Committee meeting has been
rescheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at the LA
Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, 2000 Quail Dr., Baton Rouge, LA in
the Louisiana Room.

America's Wetland Conservation Corps (AWCC) Restoration Project and Press
Event

Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge

The AWCC is a group of 18 AmeriCorps members working with the L.S.U.
AgCenter and the America's Wetland campaign to help implement wetland
restoration and education programs and increase wetland volunteer
activities throughout Louisiana.

On Friday, May 18th, the group will be meeting at Rockefeller Wildlife
Refuge at 10 a.m. to participate in a restoration planting project and
press event. Volunteers are needed to help with the planting project, and
all are welcome to come to the press event and meet the AWCC members, tour
the refuge, and discuss restoration programs that are being conducted
throughout the state. A small reception will follow the restoration
planting.
