A listing of all projects nominated during the RPT meetings and handouts
provided during the meeting (and warranted updates) are posted.
The PPL17 Coastwide Voting meeting will take place on February 7, 2007
9:30 am - 12:30 pm Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries
Louisiana Room 2000 Quail Drive Baton Rouge, LA
The meeting will consist of voting by basin (each agency and parish within
a basin receives a vote) to select up to 20 nominees coastwide and one
coastwide vote to select 6 demos. No new projects will be nominated and
no significant changes to previously nominated projects will be allowed.
No additional public comment will be accepted at the voting meeting.
Parish and/or public support/comments on project nominations were
solicited at the January RPT meetings. Written public support letters
received are posted with the updates.

Marsh Mission Exhibit Update The Vanishing Wetlands: Two Views opened with
great success in Washington, DC at the US Botanic Gardens last Wednesday.
More than 250 people attended the opening reception. Both Rhea Gary and CC
Lockwood gave their Slide show programs during the week. Being just a mere
stone?s throw from the Capitol, many on Capitol Hill can view it and learn
of our sinking coast. The exhibit will remain up at this venue until May
13 before traveling on to Houston, TX and Jackson Hole, WY. See
