3. What is the Everglades Restudy? (9:20 a.m. to  9:50 a.m.) Presenter:
Stuart Appelbaum, Jacksonville District.  Overview of the Restudy,
including a description of the original study.
4. Building and Leading the Restudy Team--Results of Team Planning.
(9:50 a.m. to 10:35 a.m.) Presenter: Stuart Appelbaum, Jacksonville
District.  Who has played the leadership roles in the Internal Teams
(Full Team, Public Involvement Team, Alternative Evaluation Team,
Alternative Development Team, Implementation Plan Team) and External
Teams (Governor's Commission for a Sustainable South Florida, South
Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force and Working Group, South
Florida Water Management District Governing Board, and Federal
Hierarchy)?  For example, was the relationship between the Task Force
Executive Director and the Corps' leadership?

5. Building and Leading the Restudy Team-Results of Team
Planning--Continued.  (10:50 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.) Presenter: Stuart
Appelbaum, Jacksonville District.  How was the Restudy conducted in
terms of agency roles? public role? State vs. Federal role? Public
meetings? Decision making? Distribution of technical work among the team
members? How was the public involvement program integrated into the
process and communication among stakeholders achieved?

6. Building and Leading the Restudy Team-Results of Team
Planning--Continued.  (1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.) How were projects
selected?  How do they fit together?  How was science integrated into
the decision-making process?  What is the "Recover" Team and how will it
ensure that the project constructed add up to plan implementation?
7. Brief History and Status of Louisiana Coastal Restoration Effort with
Overview of Processes. (1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.) Presenter: Mr. Thomas
Podany, New Orleans District.  Brief description of history, need,
status of restoration plans in Louisiana.  Overview of management
systems, restoration planning and processes, Breaux Act, Coast 2050, and
WRDA efforts.
8. Discussion of Common Issues and Methods between Louisiana and Florida
Programs.  (2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) Facilitator: Dr. Len Bahr,
Governor's Office for Coastal Activities, State of Louisiana.
Discussion of similarities/dissimilarities in programs and in "lessons
learned".

BREAK (3:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.)

9. Identification of Techniques, Structures, Processes, and Ideas that
could Benefit Louisiana and Florida Programs.  (3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.)

State of Louisiana.  Development of conceptual recommended changes to
consider in Louisiana and Florida programs, as recommended by
participants.
