Haleiwa Road/Goodale Avenue Bike & Pedestrian Paths - Island of Oahu ($3,200,000)
The project will build bike/pedestrian paths along Haleiwa Road and Goodale Avenue on the island of Oahu that will connect to the existing bike path on Waialua Beach Road and create a bikeway system for the area.
The bike path will provide a safe connection for bicyclists and pedestrians traveling between the towns of Haleiwa and Waialua, utilizing the completed Waialua Beach Road Bikeway. There are several schools and parks in the area that will be served by this project. The total estimated cost of the project is $4,000,000.
