The leading truly global international trade show for the marine leisure industry celebrates its 22nd edition. METS 2009 is Europe's biggest international tradeshow for the marine leisure industry. 2008 was a blockbuster year with visitor and exhibitor attendance at an all time high. METS 2009 offers U.S. companies an excellent opportunity to sell the latest in marine and offshore technology in one of the world's best markets.
The Netherlands is the gateway to Europe and offers U.S. companies a prime location to centralize U.S. product distribution throughout Europe. METS 2009 offers U.S. companies an excellent opportunity to sell the latest in marine and offshore technology in a market that continues to be one of the steadiest in the maritime industry.
With this in mind, the U.S. Department of Commerce has granted METS 2009 its Trade Fair Certification status, establishing a U.S. Pavilion for small and medium-sized exporters. Trade Fair Certification assures the METS 2009 exhibition of U.S. Commercial Service support in both the U.S. and in Europe. Companies exhibiting in the U.S. Pavilion have an excellent opportunity to establish and expand overseas distribution, generate sales leads, meet with existing clients, and work with Commerce trade experts to find the right buyers and partners.
The U.S. Department of Commerce's Trade Fair Certification (TFC) Program is a cooperative arrangement between private sector trade show organizers and the U.S. Government. The TFC Program seeks to broaden the base of U.S. exporters, particularly new-to-export and new-to-market companies, by introducing them to key trade fairs where they can meet their export objectives.
