Hall Votes Against Iraq War Funding
June 19, 2008
Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. John Hall (D-NY19) released the following statement on tonight’s vote on the FY 2008 Supplemental Appropriations Bill.

“Tonight I will vote for the 16th time against funding a war without an end game in Iraq. I remain firmly opposed to the U.S. military presence in Iraq. I will not vote to fund an open ended commitment to President Bush’s mistaken war and have thus, always refused to vote for any funding that is not tied to a timeline for withdrawal.  The men and women in uniform serving in Iraq have performed brilliantly and heroically.  It is time for the Iraqi government to take responsibility for Iraq and for America to start bringing our troops home.”
