OMB Memorandums
- Guidance on Data Submission under
the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) and Recovery Act (M-09-19), June 1, 2009. This memorandum, which
was issued by Vivek Kundra, Federal CIO, contains new operational guidance that agencies are to use to report data to USAspending.gov.
The guidance defines award reporting requirements necessary to comply with both the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act
and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This memorandum replaces OMB Memo M-08-12, March 6, 2008.

This memorandum from Peter R. Orszag, Director of OMB, provides guidance for implementing paragraph 3 of the Memorandum of January 20, 2009, concerning
Regulatory Review.

- FY 2006 Reporting Instructions for the Federal Information Security Management Act and Agency Privacy Management (M-06-20), July 17, 2006. The instructions require:
- That agencies include an attachment or appendix with the results of the privacy review the agency's senior official for privacy conducted according to OMB Memorandum M-06-15 of May 15, 2006, Safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information;
- That agency Inspectors General provide a list of any systems they have found missing from the agency's inventory of major information systems;
- That agency privacy updates be submitted quarterly with security updates to support the President's Management Agenda and
- That agencies identify any physical or electronic incidents involving the loss of or unauthorized access to personally identifiable information and report them in accordance with OMB Memorandum M-06-19 of July 12, 2006, Reporting Incidents Involving Personally Identifiable Information and Incorporating the Cost for Security in Agency Information Technology Investments.
