CASAE: Advancing HIV/AIDS Prevention in Native Communities develops and
delivers CBA to organizations serving American Indians, Native Hawaiian and Alaska
Native populations at risk for or living with HIV/AIDS. CASAE primarily utilizes
the Community Readiness Model, a theory based and nationally known model for
successfully building capacity for community and organizational prevention and
intervention efforts. This model was developed at Colorado State University and
has been used in Native communities throughout the United States North American
and abroad .
