MISSION

Provide acquisition oversight, program management, advocacy, and support for the SATCOM, Teleport, and Services portfolio. Deliver best value and operationally relevant capabilities and services to the Commander-in-Chief and the warfighter.

FUNCTIONS
  • Manage the resources to ensure the upgrade and integration of communications assets supporting the Commander in Chief, and establishment of the Agency as provider of choice for SATCOM and service acquisition support for the department.
  • Ensure effective and efficient application, planning, programming, budgeting and execution of portfolio resources in support of DISA's mission in concert with DoD goals and objectives.
  • Engage with the department's senior leaders to facilitate the strategic application of those assets and services within the portfolio in support of the warfighter.
  • Ensure consistent and cost effective program/project/services planning and execution within the portfolio.
