As National Technical Assistance Coordinator, Ms. Fitch oversees national-level technical assistance initiatives, such as the Regional Technical Assistance Coordinators and the Technical Assistance Series. She also participates in planning the Medical Reserve Corps portion of the Integrated Training Summit. Ms. Fitch formerly served as the MRC Regional Coordinator for DHHS Region IV (AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN) by providing ongoing technical assistance and outreach to existing and developing MRC units. Ms. Fitch’s career has included work with various non-profit organizations and government agencies, primarily in the areas of program management and volunteer coordination. Prior to accepting the position of Regional Coordinator, she worked for District Four Health Services in Georgia as Risk Communicator and Volunteer Coordinator for the Medical Reserve Corps of West Georgia. She also serves as Program Co-Chair for the Council of Volunteer Administrators in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Fitch holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of the South (Sewanee, TN) and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University. Last Updated on 8/17/2009 |
