  • Atlas of the Flora of New England

  • Biodiversity Heritage Library 
    Ten major natural history museum libraries, botanical libraries, and research institutions have joined to form the Biodiversity Heritage Library Project.   • Flora of North America 
    The Flora of North America presents information on the names, taxonomic relationships, continent-wide distributions, and morphological characteristics of all plants native and naturalized found in North America north of Mexico. It will eventually reach 30 volumes and will be available in print and on the Web.
  • Global Invasive Species Database  
    This database is managed by the Invasive Species Specialist Group of the Species Survival Commission of the IUCN-World Conservation Union. It was developed as part of the global initiative on invasive species led by the Global Invasive Species Programme and is supported through partnerships with the National Biological Information Infrastructure, Manaaki Whenua-Landcare Research, the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, the University of Auckland and private donations.

    A project of the Plant Conservation Alliance's Alien Plant Working Group, this site lists invasive plants infesting natural areas throughout the United States.

    For over 50 years the Forest History Society has monitored the world of publishing for items written as history and dealing with the utilization, management, and appreciation of our forest related resources. Their work has been called the world's most comprehensive collection of bibliographic information pertaining to forest and conservation history.
  • Forestry Databases
