Of Interest: Women’s Health

lady lifting weights at the gym During National Women's Health Week, communities, businesses, government, health organizations, and other groups are encouraged to work together to educate women on ways to improve physical and mental health.  Small steps go a long way toward prevention and good health.  Women can lower their risks of certain diseases by participating in physical activity, eating a healthy diet, and living a health lifestyle.  It’s important to see your health care professional for regular checkups and screenings.  Visit womenshealth.gov to use the Women’s Health Screening Tool and find out what preventative screenings you need.
