In today's world, a global viewpoint is becoming the norm as so many world events have global impact.   As a high school student, you now have the opportunity to study abroad in Germany and learn more about the world we live in.  This program will allow you to develop critical intercultural skills while learning what it's like to live and attend school in Germany.

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Experience (CBYX) is jointly funded by the German Bundestag and the U.S. Congress through the U.S. Department of State. Primarily a cultural program, CBYX is designed to strengthen German-American ties by bringing together the younger generations of both countries.

Since 1983, this Congressionally funded youth exchange program has helped to prepare young people for living in a global society. This program will allow you to develop critical intercultural skills while learning what it's like to live and attend school in Germany.

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program is for motivated high school students who want to live with a host family and attend school for an academic year in Germany. No previous language experience is required.
