CDFI Fund Website is the "Go-To" Source for News Coverage

New CDFI Fund Website Feature Provides Access to Nationwide News

Washington, DC - The Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund today announced the launch of a new service that will make the CDFI Fund's website the go-to source for targeted and relevant news stories and articles reporting on the CDFI Fund and its programs.

Located on the CDFI Fund's homepage, In The News was designed to keep our stakeholders informed of all the news being reported across the nation by the print, broadcast and internet media related to the CDFI Fund and its programs. In The News will provide current insight into how institutions are utilizing the CDFI Fund's programs and real life stories on how our programs are making a difference in the communities we serve and the people who live there as reported by the media.

Powered by LexisNexis® Publisher, In The News will provide easy internet access to news stories and articles from thousands of media outlets without violating copyright agreements. Publisher allows the CDFI Fund to scan the media outlets on a daily basis for any coverage that specifically mentions the CDFI Fund or any of its programs by name or acronym. As stories and articles are identified, they will be posted to the In The News section of the homepage where they will remain for 90 days. In addition, the CDFI Fund will share important stories and articles with key members of Congress and the Administration.
