Welcome to Recovery.Nebraska.gov

This is the State of Nebraska’s portal for informing citizens about the use of federal stimulus funding received under the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). This site provides accountability and transparency on how stimulus funds are being spent.

While Nebraska’s economy and the State’s budget have been stable during the past year, the national economic downturn is impacting communities and residents across the state. We expect the federal funds received to be used primarily for programs that create and maintain jobs, support education, and provide human services and health care assistance to help vulnerable Nebraskans.

The stimulus plan involves more than 50 state-administered federally funded programs. I invite you to use this website to get information about these programs and track how funds coming to Nebraska are used. Information on the site will be updated regularly as funding is received and new projects are announced.
