What's New in Public Affairs:
Become more involved with important policy decisions affecting charities.
Staff at IS member organizations can become more involved with policy issues through IS's Policy Action Network (PAN), a growing coalition that takes collaborative action on key nonprofit policy issues in federal, state, and local government. PAN members may participate in our monthly legislative update sessions to learn about current congressional and regulatory issues and share strategies about communicating more effectively with members of Congress. PAN members also receive action alerts and breaking news updates about legislative and regulatory issues, and are invited to participate in advocacy training sessions, in-depth briefings, and special task forces and advisory groups working on specific policy issues and advocacy strategies.
