One very important site for information seeking
skills, especially for some one searching for health information, I'd
think, would be the Big 6 at www.big6.com. These information seeking
skills were adapted from the scientific method by Eisenberg and
Berkowitz. There's examples for all reading levels. It begins with the
steps needed in order to make a banana split and continues with steps to
gleen out important information from a reading.
