I swear, I was not planning on posting this many times in a 48-hour period... Can
you tell it is the end of our fiscal year in two weeks? :-)

Now I need to ask if people would be willing to send (fax or email) me either
copies of job descriptions and/or essential elements of an "Education Specialist"
position that is in the process of being created within our Office of Patient
Advocacy.

This is a new foray for us in this direction, but we feel it is important for us
to have a dedicated postion within our department. Our general vision of the
position would incorporate patient materials development, payor education modules
and participation with strategy formation. Reducing barriers to blood stem cell
transplantation is the underlying goal - but a strong background in learning
theory also helps.

We are very excited about the support we're receiving from "on high" within our
organization, but we would also like to hear what recommendations and cautionary
tales people may have

Thanks - again!
