Dear Colleagues,

 I am pleased to announce and invite you to participate in the
 "Designing for Quality: e-Health Development Workshop" on Tuesday and
 Wednesday, June 24th and 25th, at the Gaithersburg, Maryland campus of
 the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The
 conference is jointly sponsored by the NIST Advanced Technology
 Program, the National Cancer Institute's Health Communication and
 Informatics Research Branch, the National Library of Medicine, and the
 Veterans Health Administration.

 The purpose of the workshop is to help ehealth developers and
 researchers build on the recent successes of those who are integrating
 evidence based health information systems into service delivery
 systems.  The wokshop will examine:

 * the role of technologies in health care systems designed for
 quality;
 *     enabling technologies required to implement the vision;
 * promising approaches and developments: and
 *     funding opportunities

 See the following website for more information about the workshop and
 registration:  http://www.atp.nist.gov/ehealth/ehealth-main.htm

 Please pass on information about this workshop to anyone you may know
 who is working on e-health interventions for health care delivery.

 Wishing you the very best,
