The Bambi Holzer Health Literacy Awards honor individuals or groups who have positively affected and contributed to advancing healthcare literacy in the areas of Research, Innovative Programs, and Published Materials. One winner in each category will receive complimentary tuition to the 2003 IHA Health Literacy Conference: "Organizational Solutions to Low Health Literacy"; a $500 check; handsome award plaque; roundtrip coach airfare (if outside the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area); and 2 nights' hotel accommodations at the Anaheim Marriott.
