We have a small church based ESL program in its second year and had the same
problems with dropout. Especially after the weather turned warm this spring.
It's hard to go to school plus work or take care of family. I appreciated
all the suggestions too.

We sing Happy Birthday the first week of the month for anyone whose birthday
is that month while we have a refreshment break. It helps build
relationships.
