tk,

I checked out your suggestion of the book Teaching Multilevel Classes in
ESL on Amazon but it says it ships in 1 - 2 months. Is it worth the
wait? Can you tell me anything more about it.

I, too, teach two classes of very multi level adults and struggle with
keeping the more advanced ones interested and not losing the beginners.
I am a new ESL teacher so just thought it might be my teaching methods
and inexperience! :)

I do find that the more advanced students really want to practice
talking and are really interested in hearing the spoken English so when
I am asking questions I expect them to give me longer sentences or maybe
an answer with several sentences whereas I don't expect that from the
lower level students.

Thanks to the lister for this question about the multi level adults!
