Bass Lake Siesmic Retrofit Project

Beginning in 2009, Pacific Gas and Electric which operates Bass Lake will begin a seismic retrofit project to strengthen the Crane Valley Dam at Bass Lake.  The project will require that lake levels be lowered ten feet from normal summer operations.  The project is expected to be completed in late 2010 or mid 2011.
