	FROM THE OFFICE OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS March 31, 2003 JS-146 Air Transportation Stabilization Board Issues Federal Guarantee on Behalf of US Airways, Inc. The Air Transportation Stabilization Board today announced that US Airways, Inc. has closed on a $1 billion loan. The loan is backed by a $900 million Federal guarantee issued under the Air Transportation Safety and System Stabilization Act and implementing regulations promulgated by the Office of Management and Budget.
