	FROM THE OFFICE OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS December 5, 2003 JS-1042 Statement of Secretary John Snow on Employment Report Today’s employment rate report is further evidence that the economy is on the right path, but there is much more that needs to be done. For the fourth consecutive month, more Americans are finding jobs and unemployment is lower. However, despite signs that the economy is moving in the right direction, the effort must remain ongoing. We will not be satisfied until every American looking for work can find a job. Enactment of the President’s six point plan for job creation is critical for continuing more new jobs and economic growth.
