Nomination Process

For all NAFRI courses except S-520 and S-620

Forest Service (FS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), and state or local government employees will submit their nomination forms through their Geographical Area Training Representative for prioritization and forwarding to NAFRI.

Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and National Park Service (NPS) employees will submit their nomination forms through their respective agencies’ National Fire Office for prioritization and forwarding to NAFRI.

Nomination Forms

All nominations must be submitted on the NWCG training nomination form (NFES-2131).

The nomination form is available in several formats. Download, fill out, and mail or fax as appropriate. MS Word format (DOC); Portable Document Format (PDF), Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.02 or later is needed for the PDF version; or Rich Text Format (RTF).
