his years of dedication in the development of the Advanced Fire Behavior
Interpretation Course.

The
S-590 Advanced Fire Behavior Interpretation course is the state of the
art fire behavior course incorporating information concerning fire weather
data manipulation, fire behavior prediction, long-term risk assessment, and
large fire growth simulation. The instructor cadre here these two weeks comes
from several wildland fire agencies and various geographic areas of the country.
Each instructor has extensive operational experience and represents some of
the finest fire behavior expertise in this country.
The 2008 S-590 offering
represents the most complete and advanced course ever taught on the subject
of fire behavior interpretation. Upon completion of this course the 29
students will be the most qualified fire behavior and long term analysts
yet.

NAFRI will be issuing the Call Letter for nominations from the Geographic
