Demetrice Moody joined the Office of the Deputy Director for Science Programs as a Program Assistant in September 2007.  His responsibilities include serving as the assistant point of contact for personnel actions, calendar and scheduling, preparation of travel, and processing of correspondence pertaining to Office of Science programs and management.  He studied Trust Management and Business Administration at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. He previously served in the hospitality industry for thirteen years as a front office trainer, front office manager, assistant general manager and general manager of a variety of corporate chains including: Marriott International, Blackstone Incorporated, Hilton International, Prime Incorporated and Hyatt Corporation.  He has been a recipient of a cash award for outstanding office service.
