The NN/LM PSR E-Licensing Program is now a “go” with two STAT!Ref offers underway. We wish to acknowledge our “early adopter” libraries and thank them for their willingness to embark on this new venture. The hospitals for these early adopters are:

The two products are:

Core Clinical: This is a list of 30 titles developed in collaboration with the NN/LM PSR E-Licensing Advisory Committee and designed for a community hospital collection. This collection focuses on general medicine/clinical-decision-related sources; some surgery, anesthesia, and critical care; representative titles from a number of medical specialties; and representative titles for nursing, physician assistants, and cultural competence.

Nursing Content: this is a standard package of 66 nursing e-books from STAT!Ref.

SCELC

We are working with the Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC) on this program. SCELC negotiates with vendors on our libraries’ behalf and provides centralized billing. SCELC has considerable experience working with database aggregators and publishers, and for many years has provided services for non-profit educational and research institutions. NN/LM PSR hospital libraries may join as SCELC Affiliates to participate in this program.
