Second in the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial One Cent Program, the "Formative Years" design is now available in two-roll sets. The reverse, designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Charles L. Vickers, depicts a young Lincoln reading while taking a break from working as a rail splitter in Indiana. The inscriptions are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and ONE CENT. The one-cent coins produced at the United States Mint at Philadelphia do not have a mint mark. The coins produced at the United States Mint at Denver display the "D" mint mark. These historic coins are available for a limited time only.2009 Lincoln Cent "Formative Years" Two-roll Coin Set
