Feng Pan receives DRI’s Colin Warden Award
DRI's
Feng Pan is being honored with the Colin Warden Memorial Endowment Award
for his paper titled “Numerical evaluation of uncertainty in water retention parameters and effect on predictive uncertainty". Pan's work focused on numerical modeling in the unsaturated zone of Yucca Mountain.
DRI Graduate Student Named 2009 Outstanding International Graduate Student
Subhashree Mishra is being honored as the
2009 Outstanding International Graduate Student
by the University of Nevada, Reno. Mishra, now working on her doctorate in atmospheric sciences, uses computer models to develop new ground-based remote sensing techniques.
