New Volunteer Opportunities: Counselors needed at North Central Indiana SCORE, Chapter 543
Kokomo SCORE is seeking at least 5 additional volunteers with experience managing a business or working with small businesses to lend their skills and experience at our local office helping people establish a new business, or assisting people already in business. Ideal candidates will be willing to provide six or more hours per month, spread over three days. Two days are for counselling meetings and may be the most convenient time for you, and one day is to to attend a monthly Chapter meeting on the morning of the fourth Tuesday of the month. The candidates selected will work with a group of skilled and experienced volunteer business consultants, and respond to business clients. Volunteers offer face-to-face counseling with a second volunteer and/or e-mail cyber counseling.

Our chapter is an integral part of the national SCORE organization. SCORE is a non-profit association dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the formation, growth, and success of the nation's small business sector. SCORE volunteers serve as "Counselors to America's Small Business."
All chapters provide free and confidential business counseling tailored to meet the needs and objectives of your small business before or after start-up.
