  1. Who are we?
    Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP) is a monthly journal of peer-reviewed research and news on the impact of the environment on human health. EHP is published by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services. EHP is an Open Access journal.

  2. Who are EHP's current international partners?

  3. How can my journal or organization partner with EHP?
    If you are interested in partnering with EHP, please write to the Editor-in-Chief, EHP, Mail Drop K3-01, PO Box 12233, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 USA, or e-mail EHPEditor@niehs.nih.gov. EHP journal partnerships are very flexible and are developed to meet the needs of the individual participants.

  4. Can I submit my research paper to EHP Chinese Edition?
    No, EHP Chinese Edition does not accept research manuscripts. However, we do consider commentaries and editorials for publication in EHP Chinese Edition. We are interested in editorials and commentaries that outline your research or discuss policy surrounding environmental issues in China.   5. Can I submit my research paper to an EHP partner journal?
    Our partners accept research papers. For details, please visit their websites.

  6. Who is qualified to receive EHP's complimentary subscription?
    EHP considers requests for complimentary print subscriptions from institutions located in nations classified by the World Bank as "low income" or "lower middle income". To request a complimentary subscription, please write to the Editor-in-Chief, EHP, MD EC-15, PO Box 12233, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 USA, or e-mail EHPEditor@niehs.nih.gov. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  7. Can I republish EHP content?
    Most EHP content can be freely republished, but some copyright restrictions may apply. EHP is a U.S. government publication and therefore is not subject to copyright. This applies both to the original English version and to any translations of EHP articles. However, EHP occasionally licenses the use of copyrighted images to illustrate articles. The rights to reproduce such images must be obtained from the image source prior to republication. EHP cannot authorize the republication of copyrighted images.

    Yes, the NIEHS supports numerous international activities, including research collaborations, training for visiting fellows, outreach, capacity building, and service to the global scientific community.
