Prescriptive Package Field Guides

The DOE has developed a set of REScheck™ (formerly MECcheck) Prescriptive Package Field Guides for the 1998/2000 IECC. The guides (one for each climate zone) cover the envelope prescriptive requirements in a convenient tri-fold format. The prescriptive package worksheet (PDF 59 KB) will also need to be submitted to demonstrate compliance. Locate your desired package in the guide, complete the worksheet, and submit it to your code official after you have verified acceptance by your local jurisdiction.
