    As part of the Schwarzenegger Administration’s ongoing strategy and commitment to combating gang violence, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Director of the Governor’s Office of Gang and Youth Violence Policy Paul Seave today announced the formation of the Safe Community Partnership. This is in conjunction with the awarding of more than $9.2 million dollars in competitive grant awards to cities and community-based organizations (CBO’s) to areas with heavy concentrations of gangs.
