Description | The Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration will unveil the results of the 2007 National Survey on Drug Use and Health at a press conference on Thursday, September 4. The annual survey, formerly called the Household Survey is the largest of its kind, and is the governments primary vehicle for determining how many persons are abusing illegal drugs, pharmaceuticals, alcohol and tobacco.
The release of the 2007 survey results is the keynote of the annual National Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month press conference marking a month long observance of the gains made by those in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse, as well as treatment providers.

Description | Bicycle ride to show support for Recovery and those in Recovery. There will be a slow paced ride of 4 miles with a stop half way. There will also be a 12 mile ride with the last 8 miles at a somewhat faster pace. There will be available rides of longer lengths for those that want more riding. The break is at Lucia's Pizzeria. Who knows maybe a pizza stop. The short ride will then return to the start and the City of Kingston Fall Festival. |
