Title | Outside the Walls: A Celebration of Freedom and Recovery |
Description | What better way to kick off Recovery Month than with a full day of Gospel Celebration? Please note that this is a community-based initiative, and it will not be successful without the full support of our capable community members and leaders. Come one; come all!
The days twofold objective is to celebrate the lives and newfound freedom of men and women who have paid their debt to society and to promote the reconnection of families once broken due to incarceration. This event will engage everyone involved in a spiritual atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of faith-based consciousness in productive reentry and in sustaining the effort to remain free, clean, sober and serene. Title | "The 12x12 Show" Art Exhibition |
Description | The 12 x 12 Show is an open call exhibition for artists in recovery. All art submitted is exhibited, uncensored, to emphasize the dynamic range of personal expression by artists who are focused on healing their mind and their soul. All art in this exhibit is restricted to a 12 x 12 surface, providing a visually intimate and uniform link across all works in the exhibition. Like the process of recovery, each piece reflects a unique story, perspective and message.
