What's New in REScheck™ MAC

Significant changes made to each software release are identified below, with the most recent version listed first.

REScheck Mac Version 4.2.0
REScheck Mac Version 4.1.4
REScheck Mac Version 4.1.3

REScheck 4.2.0 (November 2008)

REScheck version 4.2.0 provides the following modifications: a project type specification for IECC 2006 Additions/Alterations, enhanced Beyond Code Advisor, removal of Massachusetts state code (Massachusetts projects are now to be based on IECC 2006), and several "under the hood" calculation and reporting enhancements. Slight updates were made to fix UI inconsistencies between the OS X and Windows versions.

REScheck 4.1.4 (June 2008)

REScheck version 4.1.4 provides the following modifications: Automated and/or manual version checking was added, the New Jersey state code was removed from the Codes menu, the Georgia state code was changed to be based on the 2006 IECC, and several report formatting modifications were made.

REScheck 4.1.3 (January 2008)

REScheck version 4.1.3 provides the following modifications: The IECC 2006 has been included with the Sustainable Energy Standard (Pima, AZ) and New Hampshire state codes changed so they are based on the 2006 IECC. The 2006 IRC is included also. NOTE: the high-efficiency equipment tradeoff portion of the 2006 IECC code has been restricted until a MAC compatible performance evaluation engine is incorporated. Until that time MAC users that need the high efficiency equipment evaluation option are directed to use the Windows based version of REScheck 4.1.3. or REScheck-Web. Various application run-time and reporting changes were made including upgrading the Java run-time engine, and temporary report file names now have "time-stamps“ included with them to prevent generation of corrupt PDF files.
