Question
Would it violate US law generally, military or otherwise, for NASA to reveal photographs of scary looking alien life?
There are no laws or regulations that I know of that would limit the release of such information, once it was verified. In fact, NASA is obligated to make scientific findings available to everyone. Scientists in general, and astrobiologists in particular, would love to find evidence of alien life, scary-looking or otherwise.
