On May 1, 2008, NMPP was selected through a RFP process released by the NYC Administration for Children’s Services to take over the administration of the West Harlem Head Start agency at 155th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Close to 200 more children will be added to our early childhood system of care. From July 16th to 18th 2008, the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health will be holding their annual Leadership Retreat to Advance Maternal and Child Health Scholarship and Practice. CityMatch’s Urban Maternal and Child Health Leadership Conference will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico from September 20th to 23rd 2008.
