Redesigned $5 Bill Entered Circulation on March 13, 2008

 

The $5 bill, which has been redesigned to help foil counterfeiters, includes two new watermarks and an enhanced security thread that will help businesses and consumers validate the new bills.

The New $100 Bill

The $100 bill is the next denomination slated for a new design, after the $5 bill. An official introduction date has not been set.
