800 MHz Study
This report, completed in March 1998, assesses the relative merits of 800 MHz as an operating frequency band for public safety wireless communications and the extent to which 800 MHz operations have affected interoperability among systems at all levels of government. The report includes a detailed analysis of the planning and management processes for 800 MHz systems as well as a collection of 800 MHz system user perspectives.
