On this page you will find brief overviews of specific, and sometimes complex, topics. These fact sheets respond to questions we have received from the public. They cover a range of topics, from "facts about radiation" to "why do scientists think a repository will work?"
Below you may choose your desired view of the complete fact sheet list by clicking on the heading of each table listing. For example: If you want to view the list alphabetically, click on “Fact Sheet Title” and the list will sort alphabetically by title.
From the individual fact sheet pages you may choose a text-only version for printing, or you may choose to print each fact sheet complete with graphics.
To print the fact sheet with graphics from your browser tool bar, choose File > Print. If you would like to remove the default header and footer your browser places on printed pages, before printing, choose File > Page Setup… delete the content of both the header and footer boxes and click ‘OK’.
