AMERSA seeks abstract submissions of recent substance abuse research and substance abuse education innovations. Abstracts will be accepted in the categories of research presentation, program and curricula evaluation and clinical case presentation. They should address cross-cultural issues, diversity, hard-to-reach populations or clinical practice differences.
The deadline to apply is May 15, 2009.

The National American Indian AIDS Summit Planning Committee has issued a call to solicit abstract proposals from people working in the field of HIV/AIDS in federal, state and local governments, community health clinics in rural and urban settings, interested in convening a seminar, workshop or roundtable presentation at the National American Indian AIDS Summit 2009. Abstracts must be relevant to the Native American Community and will be reviewed by the National American Indian AIDS Summit Planning Committee. For additional information please call (585) 413- 1817.
Abstract submission forms must be mailed or sent via e-mail on or before May 15, 2009 by 5 p.m. EST.

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is accepting proposals for presentations for the upcoming conference Ensuring Safe and Fair Treatment of Youth in the Juvenile Justice System, which is scheduled to take place Oct. 26-29, 2009, in Austin, Texas.
The deadline to submit proposals is June 5, 2009.
