Although I hear the reasoning behind the lack of a FAR clause for section 508, the lack of guidance for Contracting Officer's is disturbing.

The guidance that a standard clause would give Contracting Officers is needed. We do not feel that it is in the governments best interest to have each agency, or individual contracting officer doing their own thing when it applies to Section 508.

Whether the guidance be in the rewrite of a warranty clause or even some universal language for all to use under a special clause, it is needed.
