Overview
The Partners for Healthy Children program was authorized under Title XXI of the Social Security Act. This program provides Medicaid coverage for children who live in families with income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Basic Eligibility Requirements
- Under 19 years of age
- Income at or below 150% of the federal poverty level, currently $2,757
per month for a family of four (4)
- Have resources at or below $30,000 per Budget Group.

Overview
The Healthy Connections Kids program provides health insurance coverage to uninsured children in households with income above 150% but less than or equal to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Basic Eligibility Requirements
- Under age one (1), with income above 185% but less than or equal to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
- Age 1 through 18 (under age 19), with income above 150% but less than or equal to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
- Have resources at or below $30,000 per Budget Group.

Benefits
Individuals who are eligible will receive a health insurance package based on the State Health plan provided to South Carolina State Employees. Dental and Vision services are included in the benefit package.
