The Office of Minority Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Health, Shelby County Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative—All Babies Count, and several Historically Black Colleges and Universities which have been involved in the Preconception Peer Educators training in Tennessee will hold the Higher Knowledge, Higher Service - First College to Community Health Outreach Week, May 17-23, 2009, in Memphis, Tenn, under the umbrella of our black infant mortality awareness campaign, A Healthy Baby Begins with You.
