Document Content

The term Document Content refers to the collected text taken from documents in the Participant Organization's repository. The LSN crawler retrieves the pure ASCII content of documents and indexes to enhance the search process by generating concepts, keywords, etc.

Conceptual-based searching such as 'nearby towns,' keywords, or Boolean searches (AND, OR, etc.) can be used to find results. The search engine used by the LSN repository is powerful enough to understand varied search criteria.

The document content entry field is limited to 1000 characters. Any text beyond the limit is automatically truncated.
